The New York Department of Motor Vehicles has announced that it has started offering printable, temporary driver's licenses, which will save motorists a trip to the DMV. Customers can now print a temporary driver's license from the DMV website, a service that applies to renewing or replacing a license or a learner's permit, as well as a non-drive identification card.
These temporary documents are valid for 60 days, and are similar to those that drivers can obtain in person at any local DMV office.
