As the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles prepares to roll out the redesigned driver's licenses, it has announced that it will close local offices across the state in April. The rollout is scheduled to begin on April 6, and it is expected to be completed in two weeks.
Each office will be closed for just one day, and it will be the day before the office starts issuing the new licenses, along with newly-designed permits and ID cards. The DMV says that Colorado residents can continue to use their current valid licenses, permits and ID cards until they expire.
